Kristina Bazemore, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine


Dr. Bazemore was born, raised and currently resides in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She is the proud parent of one 10 year old furry kid, a cat named Tarjay; as well as a tank of seven misfit fish (5 blood parrot fish, 1 arowana, and a Plecostomus). 

  Dr. Bazemore has been a part of the VCA Beacon Hill Cat Hospital family since 2003-04, first as a veterinary technician assistant, then as a veterinarian.  When she is not working at VCA Beacon Hill Cat Hospital, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys roller skating and bike riding.    Veterinary medicine, particularly feline medicine, is a strong passion of Dr. Bazemore. She enjoys being an advocate for the health and well being of her patients. Dr. Bazemore spends a lot of time focusing in on education in various areas such as nutrition, behavior, dental care, and senior/geriatric care.  Meeting the needs of her patients and clients is a constant goal.
