Melissa started out as a Kennel Attendant at Toms River Animal Hospital 11 years ago. She moved up to Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy Supervisor, and finally Hospital Manager. She has been a manager for the past 3 years and is ecstatic to be part of the Bayview Animal Hospital as their Hospital Manager!
Along with animals, Melissa has a passion for teaching. She has danced professionally since the age of 2 and owned her own Performing Arts Studio for 3 years where she taught Drama and all genres of Dance. Melissa has an associates degree in Liberal Arts and a dual bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Philosophy.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending quality time with her family either out and about or spending cozy time at home. Their very mobile and adventurous children, 1 boy and 1 girl had been very thrilling for their dogs!
Melissa also enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, the beach, and fundraising for Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer Research and Awareness became very personal for Melissa when her mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Proudly, Melissa's mom has been a survivor and activist since 2002!! -

Kim has worked as our client service rep since 2010. She has over 7 years experience working in animal hospitals. She graduated with her Master's Degree in December 2011 with a degree in Homeland Security and will be pursuing medical school to be a psychiatrist. In her free time she REALLY enjoys spending time with her 8 cats at home and every cat that walks through Bayview's door. Recently, Kim was promoted to WoofWare trainer for VCA. Happily, she is now traveling the country visiting with our other VCA hospitals training for our new computer program. She is no stranger here, she often still helps us out when back in town. If you have a kitty question, she's your gal!
