  • Registered Veterinary Technician

    Lisandra Marquez

Lisandra has been in the veterinary field since 2006 where she began as a volunteer at the East Bay SPCA - she was shortly was hired as aCustomer Service Representative.  It was not long before Lisandra was trained as a veterinary assistant and realized that she was a natural and had just discovered her passion and future career.  Fast forward to a small hiatus of attending school to become a registered veterinary technician, several clinical rotations, hands on experience with all kinds of animals, and loving every minute of it - she finally became and RVT in 2013.  Lisandra started VCA as a semi green RVT, but experienced technician in 2013.  Even though she has worked at an emergency clinic, VCA's large volume and fast pace helps fill that void of working for an emergency clinic with normal sleeping hours.  At VCA, she has learned that there is a very large population of rabbit clients in the Bay Area and amazing doctors that love them just as much.  Lisandra has 3 dogs; Lola, Lalo,  and Falcor and lives to make sure they live healthy happy lives.
