Raised right here in Aventura, Dr. Isaac Epstein went to school just a few blocks away from VCA Aventura, at Hillel Community Day School. After spending a year in Israel, at Bar Ilan University, he continued his studies as a "Double Gator," at the University of Florida. Dr. Epstein graduated with high honors in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies, while writing a senior thesis that focused on laws and humane treatment of animals through a Jewish lens. He continued his studies at UF and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2022, with a certificate in Business Management.

Having always been passionate about animals, Dr. Epstein knew from a young age that a career in veterinary medicine was the way to go. He has volunteered and worked in various aspects of the field, primarily gaining experience in the ICU and ER at UF. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is forming lasting and trusting relationships with clients and their pets.

With a Fear Free Certification, he tries to make every appointment a stress free and a pleasant experience for pets, going slow and offering treats along the way. His special interests include client education, preventative medicine, dermatology, and dentistry.

During his free time, Dr. Epstein enjoys spending time with his Staffordshire mix, which he rescued during vet school. He also enjoys cooking, playing and watching football (Go Dolphins!), video games, and travelling.
