Renee Rockefeller, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, University of Tennessee

Biography

Dr. Rockefeller, who is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, is a 1987 graduate of the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been with our hospital  since 1993. Previously, she has worked at small animal and emergency clinics in both Jacksonville and northern Virginia. She and her husband, Paul, enjoy spending time with their daughter, Sloane, and cat, Lily, as well as sailing, camping, and rock-climbing.

Dr.Rockefeller volunteers with Patriot Service Dogs. She commits to puppy-training for 2 years, after which time, the lucky dog will then go home to assist a disabled veteran. Her last puppy, Indy, would come to work with her often. Although, it was hard to see him go to new home, it was a rewarding experience for all of us here at the clinic.
