    Judy Ritchey, RN

    Growing up on a farm in Iowa was the basis of Judy's interest in veterinary medicine. Formally educated as a Registered Nurse, Judy practiced nursing in hospitals in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Alaska. Upon moving to Wisconsin in the 1980's, she became interested in the high level of veterinary medical care being provided to small animals and began to work at our hospital. During the years she has served as a Veterinary Assistant and Technician Supervisor. She enjoys the technical aspects of her work, learning something new each day, the hands-on experiences with the pets and teaching new employees.

    Judy lives in the Waukesha area with her husband, Dave, a golden retriever,Westley and a rescued siamese mix cat named Ole O. They have three daughters and five grandchildren. She enjoys travel, shopping, genealogy and gardening.

    Kristin Panawash
    School: University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, BS in Microbiology

    Kristin Panawash, CVT, grew up in Waukesha. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a BS in Microbiology in 2009. She started working at VCA Associates in Pet Care shortly after graduation and passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam in April 2012.

    Kristin has three dogs, Sami, Max, and Izzy, and a guinea pig named Qui. When she's not working, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending concerts, and watching movies.
