Technician SupervisorBreann VanEpps
Breann joined the VCA Aspenwood family in July of 2015. She is a rare native to Colorado and would only consider leaving if she were offered a job as a scuba diving instructor near an ocean. She received her A.A.S. from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2008 and a B.A. in Communication from CU Denver in 2011. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of veterinary fields including equine and small animal practice. She has background in intensive care, oncology, lab and surgery, but truly appreciates the instant gratification of a good, solid dental cleaning-hold the extractions please-just give her the mouths that shine up nice. With all that free time outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, long runs, and online video gaming. She has two dogs of her own that have proudly earned their stripes for being loved by this vet tech
Christina started at VCA Aspenwood in September 2011. She has worked in animal shelters and animal hospitals for the last 10 years. she has three children and two grandchildren. She has 2 cats Oreo and Gordo, and a dog Cheyenne. She likes to spend time with her grandchildren, and likes to read. she loves animals, and loves spending time in the outdoors.
Ryan joined our team in August of 2013. He has been around animals for the majority of his life. He first started within our Pet Lodge, but transitioned into a Technician position. His pet family includes a rottweiler named Moose and 3 python snakes. In his off time, he enjoys being outdoors, concerts, and playing any type of sport. He also could listen to any type of music as he doen't favor any particular genre.
Karie joined our team in 2000, she has an interest and extensive experience in dentistry for cats and dogs. She has 4 dogs, 2 chihuahuas and 2 border collie mixes. Karie loves to go camping and fishing. She has made it a goal to try to do more of the outdoor sports that she loves. She is very proud to have worked here as long as she has and looks forward to many more years with her VCA Aspenwood family, her second home.
Crystal has been a technician for fifteen years. She got her start young because of her mom who is a dog groomer and her dad who did a lot of animal rescue. She and her husband currently have five fuzzy rescue children, 3 yorkies, and 2 cats. In her spare time she likes to help with yorkie rescue when she can. She is currently in school working towards her veterinary degree.
