    Crystal Sinner

    Crystal has been a technician for fifteen years. She got her start young because of her mom who is a dog groomer  and her dad who did a lot of animal rescue. She and her husband currently have five fuzzy rescue children, 3 yorkies, and 2 cats. In her spare time she likes to help with yorkie rescue when she can. She is currently in school working towards her veterinary degree.

    Ashlea Jurgenson, CVT
    Veterinary Tech School: Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology
    School: Iowa State, Associates in Applied Sciences in Animal Technology

    Ashlea became a part of the VCA  Aspenwood team in April 2013 after finishing schooling at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in March. She has a degree in Political Science which she obtained back home from  Iowa State. She currently does not have any pets, but is looking forward to the one that will snag her attention. Her interests outside of work  include skiing, playing the guitar, reading and writing. Her career aspirations are to one day attend a shoeing school for horses.

    Christina Spitznagel
    Veterinary Tech School: Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology

    Christina joined the VCA Aspenwood team late April 2014.  Christina was raised in Ohio and moved to Denver to attend Bel-Rea.  After graduating in 2008, Christina decided to make Denver her home.  Christina enjoys the outdoors, painting and sharing her time with family and friends.  She has 2 cat and 1dog that help to keep life in her household interesting.

    Christina Jefford

    Christina started at VCA Aspenwood in September 2011. She has worked in animal shelters and animal hospitals for the last 10 years. she has three children and two grandchildren. She has 2 cats Oreo and Gordo, and a dog Cheyenne. She likes to spend time with her grandchildren, and likes to read. she loves animals, and loves spending time in the outdoors.

    Amanda Mitchell

    I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Colorado in 2010 to pursue my dream as a veterinary technician, and did just that by graduating from Bel-Rea Institute in June  of 2013.  I have two dogs named Gigi and Mikky and a cat named Chelly, all of which are the loves of my life.  I love anything with adventure and being out doors, especially going hiking with my dogs.

    Ryan Perkins

    Ryan joined our team in August of 2013. He has been around animals for the majority of his life. He first started within our Pet Lodge, but transitioned into a Technician position. His pet family includes a rottweiler named Moose and 3 python snakes. In his off time, he enjoys being outdoors, concerts, and playing any type of sport. He also could listen to any type of music as he doen't favor any particular genre.

    Karie Sibert

    Karie joined our team in 2000, she has an interest and extensive experience in dentistry for cats and dogs. She has 4 dogs, 2 chihuahuas and 2 border collie mixes. Karie loves to go camping and fishing. She has made it a goal to try to do more of the outdoor sports that she loves. She is very proud to have worked here as long as she has and looks forward to many more years with her VCA Aspenwood family, her second home.
