Biography
Esteban R. Armendariz is a Santa Fe native who received his B.S. in Agriculture from New Mexico State University in 1992 and his DVM from Colorado State University in 1996. He joined VCA Arrighetti Animal Hospital team in 1997 after a cold year in South Dakota as a large animal veterinarian. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association. His professional interests include surgery, radiology, pain management. He is PENN HIP certified. This is a screening process in younger pets for hip dysplasia. It can help pet owners and breeders decrease the incidence as well as manage this terrible disease.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors and playing golf. He has two large cats 'Elvis' and 'Zeke'.
