Dr. Liz Davis was raised in Northern Virginia and grew up with horses, riding and showing them. She had an array of animals from dogs and cats to exotic animals such as ferrets. She graduated and received her Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech. After gradation, she worked as an analyst for several years before returning to Virginia Tech to pursue a degree in her true passion of veterinary medicine. She graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM degree in 2008. She started practicing in Arizona and has been practicing small animal and exotic animals such as parrots and other birds, turtles, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and rats ever since. Dr. Liz shares her home with her husband, daughter, and her 5 rescued dogs, Sedona, Lucy, Olive, Rafiki and her senior dog Satchoo. She also has 2 cats (Growler and Matisse) and a snake named Melanie. when she is not at the hospital, Liz enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and playing bass guitar.
