VCA Aroma Park Animal Hospital

Our Hospital

Welcome to VCA Aroma Park Animal Hospital.

Our staff looks forward to providing you and your pet(s) the best possible care in a warm, friendly environment. We have been a part of the community for over forty years and are committed to ensuring that we maintain our high standards of quality health care.

Our veterinarians bring forth a great deal of experience and regularly attend continuing education to be sure that they offer the latest in veterinary medicine.

Local Medical Issues

There are numerous local medical issues that can impact your pet's health, and that require your attention over the entire year. For example, there is heartworm disease, which can affect both cats and dogs. Since it is transmitted by mosquitoes, which thrive in our region, it's a serious cause for concern. But since the winter temperatures do not get cold enough here to kill mosquito eggs, it's a year-round risk. Likewise for the potential for flea and tick infestation, or intestinal parasites, each of which poses a problem in any season. And finally, contrary to what you'd expect, allergies are a year-round issue. Many pets suffer from skin and ear allergies, the signs of which include scratching, redness in the ears, and "scaly" skin.

Specialty Care

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. When that happens, VCA specialty hospitals work closely with the general practitioner veterinarians who refer cases to us in order to provide seamless veterinary care to your pet. When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you.
