    Maira Guzman

    Maira graduated from Gilmer High School in 2012. She previously worked for and E.N.T. specialist for 3 years. In her spare time she likes to go shopping, sleeping, and visiting her coworkers on her days off.

    Mishawna Guzman

    MIshawna Has worked at VCA Appalachian Animal Hospital since 2014. She graduated from Gilmer High School in 2011. She absolutely loves her job as a customer service representative and is being cross trained as a veterinary assistant.

    Destiny McBee

    Destiny joined VCA Appalachian Animal Hospital as a Customer Service Representative in January 2016. She started in the veterinary field in 2002 shortly after graduating high school. She is cross trained as a kennel assistant, a veterinary assistant, as well as a CSR. She has a love for the biggest of animals to the smallest. She really enjoys seeing the small puppies and kittens come and grow into beautiful beloved animals. Destiny really enjoys being part of a team that has such a passion for helping animals. When she isn't answering the phone or elbow deep in paperwork you can usually find Destiny mingling with the clients and loving on their animals.

    In her spare time she works as a makeup artist and photographer. She loves being outdoors and spending time with her family and fur babies.

    Ashley Weaver

    Ashley joined VCA Appalachian Animal Hospital in April of 2016. Although she started her journey in the veterinary field in 2009. She has always had a desire to work with animals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, Keegan, Makenna, and Kayson. You can usually find them on a baseball field or a basketball court with the kids playing sports. They have one dog named Charli, she is also very happy to be part of the VCA family!
