  • end of life care

-Pamela Harrelson from Fuquay Varina, NC

My dogs Josey and Jesse were patients of Dr. Cochran for a number of years. The time came when I knew they were in pain constantly and it was time. I made the appointment and took both in on the same day. These were not the first dogs I've had to have euthanized but I think it was the hardest. Everyone there took great care of them and me. I got a card from everyone a week or so later that all had signed. That was a year ago. I am ready for another dog now and there is only one place I intend to take it, Dr. Cochran and the staff at VCA of course.

  • AMAZING

    -Lindsay Brazzell from Morrisville, NC
    Pet Name: Dakota

Dr. Cochran and the staff at VCA in Apex, NC are AMAZING. My 4-yr old chocolate lab was miserable with itchy allergies and constant skin infections. Dr. Cochran has a holistic, dynamic approach to allergies from teaching his human clients and treating his canine patients! It has been over a month, and my dog has her happy life back and even lost weight. THANK YOU!

  • End of Life - dignity and professionalism

    -Trish from Apex, NC

We recently had to face that hard point of putting our first family pet of 12 years down. We took him to VCA Apex on a Friday morning - carrying him in.They were so professional and caring and made it as good of an experience as it could be in a situation like this. We very much appreciated the kindness and understanding they all displayed.

  • The Best

    -Christian Pon from Goldsboro, NC

I have an old dachshund named Calypso who loves to jump, that right there should tell you the problems he gives me. I have had two incidents where he hurt his back or neck in one way or another. Both times I have taken the hour drive to Apex for the exceptional service that they offer. Dr. Cochran and Dr. Fuller were the ones that saw Calypso and both times I could not have asked for anything more. They were the epitome of what any one could expect from a veterinarian. I would never take my dog to any other clinic in North Carolina. Thank you for all your help.

  • Apex VCA

-Wendy Edwards from New Hill, NC
    Pet Name: Gracie

Apex VCA is a wonderful place to take your pet. I have a shih tzu that I take to Apex VCA for shots, check-ups, grooming, and all her needs. They are always very kind and answer all my questions. They have always treated my Gracie very well, and I don't worry about her when I leave her!

  • Lifesaving

    -Christopher Vance from Apex, NC
    Pet Name: Vance Christopher

Pet Image I rescued a Bengal cat, Kallisto. It came down with a horrible upper respiratory infection and was near it's last day. Dr. Cupp and her staff worked diligently and my cat has now recovered. Kallisto didn't eat for 10 days, but Dr. Cupp tried many different methods and now Kallisto will finally eat on his own. The love and care that was shown for me and Kallisto was astonishing. Kallisto got better treatment than I get as a disabled veteran and retired army. The staff here is wonderful, caring, and friendly. If you have a pet or pets, I would highly suggest you take them here. I can't thank you enough Dr. Cupp and associates!

  • The absolute best

    -Bambi from Eden, NC
    Pet Name: Bambi

We were camping at Jordon Lake and our 10 year old Chihuahua became very lethargic, not eating, no bowel movement, or wetting. We took her to VCA Apex Animal Hospital and were seen by Dr. Cochran. The entire staff treated us like she was a long time patient, although we were from out of town. Josh was very caring and gentle with Bambi. Dr. Cochran was the absolute best vet we have ever encountered. He explained everything to us in great detail so we left very knowledgeable of her illness. My only regret is that this clinic is not located in Rockingham County, NC.

  • Very Impressed

    -Nicole from Raleigh, NC

Dr. Cochran was very informative, which i enjoyed most with me being a new dog owner. He didn't beat around the bush, he calls it as he sees it, which i think most vets should do. He was kind and gentle with my puppy but also showed assertiveness when needed. Not only did he give me information papers but went over everything with me instead of just sending me home. If anyone is looking for a great straight up veterinarian then Dr. Cochran is the one for you!

  • Lumpy Dog

    -Nancy from Apex, NC
    Pet Name: Charlie

My boxer is very allergic from spider bites, bee stings and the like. His entire body breaks out in silver dollar size hives. Thanks to Dr Cochran and his staff this life threatening condition is quickly taken care of and always with a follow up call after wards.
