    I have been in the veterinary field since 1999. I became a registered veterinary technician in 2003 and have worked in private practice, emergency and referral. I live in Moncure, NC where we have built a house where our 3 kids can enjoy having a large yard to play in. While working full time, I am taking classes in order to get my Masters in accounting.

    Jenny graduated in 2009 with a degree in Veterinary Technology from CCCC. She has lived in the Raleigh area for 4 years, but grew up in the mountains of NC. She lives with her pampered pooch, Scooby, an 11 year old yellow lab.

    Fanchette Thompson

    Fanchette graduated from S.U.N.Y Delhi in 1989 with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She is a licensed technician in the state of New York. She worked 11 years in the Oncology Department at NC. State and currently lives with her two daughters and four cats in Cary. She is the staff "cat whisperer" and loves to sing while she works.

    I began my employment with VCA at Broad Street Animal Hospital in August of 2005. I then transferred to Apex Animal Hospital in July of 2007. I work as the Kennel Manager and a technician assistant.
    I have been working with animals since 1992. I started as a Kennel Manager at the Salm_Lee Humane Society. After working only 3 weeks I was made manager.
    I have been employed as a Security Guard, cashier, hostess, cook, kennel tech, manager, tech assistant. During that time I managed to complete the veterinarian assistant program through ICS and received a certificate of completion.
    I enjoy working with animals, learning about them and in doing so I have gained knowledge about their owners.
