Dr. Cochran is a graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and a native of Indiana. He practiced for 20 years in his own mixed practice in west central Indiana and east central Illinois, before accepting the position of Director of Veterinary Services for Rhone Merieux, Inc., Athens, GA.
During his tenure in Athens, GA, Dr. Cochran also taught clinical immunology as an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. His special interest in practice is practical management of the allergic patient and infectious disease control, prevention, and treatment. He serves as a regulatory consultant to the Executive Director of the North Carolina Board of Veterinary Medicine and is a proponent of effective delivery of services through the appropriate utilization of veterinary technicians.
