Biography

Dr. Austin was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada and moved to the US in 1998 to attend the University of Arizona where she obtained her Bachelor's degree. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Colorado State University in 2007, and then moved to the east coast to complete a one-year general internship and a one-year internal medicine internship. After her internships, she went into general practice in Maryland.  In her spare time, she enjoys baking, cooking, travelling, reading, gardening and family time with her husband and two sons. They have 3 cats and a little pug, Penelope.
