Local Medical Issues

We all know about housetraining in puppies, but what do you do when an older dog starts imapporpriately urinating in the house? Sometimes there may be an underlying medical problem or behavioral issue. Doing testing such as looking at the urine and blood may help rule out more serious problems like kidney and liver disease. Sometimes in older dogs, problems with the spincter which controls the bladder occur. This problem can often be treated successfully with medication. Please speak with one of our veterinarians if your pet is experiencing any problems.
