I would recommend VCA to anyone who thinks of their pets as "family" like we do. The staff are wonderful and caring. We can always get care immediately if needed. We never have to wait and the Dr. is always on time and very caring! Special thanks to Dr. Sherrill and the very wonderful staff! Cheryl and Kelly Evans
Thank you all for all you do-Lisa from Council Bluffs, IA
Pet Name: Travis, Sadie, Jamie, Parker
The staff at VCA-AMC is wonderful! I recently lost my beloved Travie and Dr. Stevens-Kopf and the rest of the staff were compassionate and understanding of the pain I was going thru. I appreciate the kindness exhibited by all. I know my poochies receive excellent care from the moment we step in the door until we leave. :)
Bone Cancer in Blue Heeler-Trilety Wade from Omaha, NE
Pet Name: Matilda
While Matilda (a 10 year old Blue Heeler) was staying with me for a few months during the summer, she was diagnosed with bone cancer. Dr. Cory caught it during a tooth extraction. Both he and Dr. Stevens-Kopf, and all employees of VCA, were amazing during this process. They facilitated appointments with the surgeon (Dr. Merekely) and were incredibly understanding by dealing with a dog who now has three parents, all of whom were scattered from Seattle to Virginia at the time Matilda was diagnosed. Everyone at VCA was patient, communicative, honest, and thorough - we couldn't have asked for better guidance and care during that time. Matilda underwent surgery and is now hiking - cancer free - in Seattle.

Caring Heals Too-Rod Hurley from Omaha, NE
Pet Name: Maxx
Sometimes you just need to experience great care to know you are getting it. Maxx was a VIP to VCA, due to parvo as a pup, getting hit by a car later, and then stricken by cancer late in his life. He lost the battle to the third affliction, but never would have made my life so great, had VCA not made his life possible. I truly believe that he would not have survived without their gentle care and going the extra mile. I could tell you more, but words can't describe the size of their hearts.
