At VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha, we look forward to serving you, your cats, and dogs. We are conveniently located in the Aksarben neighborhood, close to midtown Omaha and a short drive down West Center Road. We also serve surrounding areas Ralston, Lavista, and Council Bluffs.

Our animal hospital has been helping local families and their beloved pets for over 45 years.

VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha is a veterinary hospital conveniently located off 64th Avenue and Center Street, just south of Stinson Park and Aksarben Village.

Our veterinary hospital provides preventive wellness and illness care, early disease detection and vaccines, parasite control, internal medicine, ultrasound, spay and neuter surgery, dentistry, microchipping, as well as with Home Delivery services and CareClub.  CareClub is our comprehensive wellness membership for pets of all ages with unlimited exams and easily affordable monthly payments. We also carry a variety of pet foods such as Hill's and Royal Canin Prescription Diets.

With decades of combined experience, Dr. Mix, Dr. Halsey, Dr. Sherrill, and Dr. Rouch have a vast amount of expertise and knowledge to determine the best route for you and your family pet.

As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
