Kelly Sandmeier, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kelly Sandmeier has enjoyed working as an associate veterinarian at VCA Animal Medical Center since 2009.  She graduated from veterinary school at Washington State University in 2009.  She is originally from southern New Jersey, and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii.  Dr Sandmeier enjoys forming relationships with clients and providing the best medicine for their pets.  Her interests include surgery, internal medicine, dermatology and preventative medicine.  She has advanced training in abdominal ultrasound, dentistry, and knee surgery.  She will soon be able to perform surgery to stabilize torn cranial cruciate ligaments and luxating patellas (kneecaps).  In her free time, Dr. Sandmeier enjoys travelling with her husband, cooking, reading, knitting, hiking, and gardening.  She has two dogs, a German shepherd named Ella and a German shorthair pointer mix named Kekoa.
