Veterinary Support

  • Technician Supervisor

    Alexis Bline, CVT

Lexi was born and raised in Concord NH, and got her start in veterinary medicine as a kennel attendant and technician's assistant while in high school. While working as a waitress, training horses and taking classes towards an RN she started working as a 'technician in training' at a local small animal and exotics clinic. Dreams of working in human nursing fell quickly by the wayside as she found that her niche and true passion was veterinary medicine! Since then she has become a Certified Veterinary Technician, with a focus on the nursing and surgical care of birds, small mammals, and reptiles. She also has a strong interest in anesthesia and pain management. Lexi is looking forward to continuing to strengthen her technical skills and helping to lead the AMC team.

She lives in  Concord with her boyfriend, and in her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, reading and spending time with her pets - Howard the 3 legged pointer, Beezie the pitbull and Sergio the cat, who is king of the household!

Alex recently relocated from Pennsylvania back to New England with her husband, 4 cats, her Boxer Lucas, and a horse!

  • Technician

    Kirk. M.

Kirk has been a VCA Animal Medical Center employee since 2001. When asked about his job with VCA, Kirk reponds:
"My passion for animals is what led me to seek a position in the veterinary field. Working at VCA over the years has taught me the skills I need to be a well-rounded Veterinary Technician. I enjoy new experiences both with patients and their owners every day."

When not at work, Kirk enjoys hanging out with his family, including Bruce, a French Bull Dog, and Fanny, his cat. His hobbies include playing guitar. Kirk describes himself as being "steeped in 'Ole Time" (in fact, he is silly with it!). Kirk also enjoys anything hockey related.

  • Technician

    Mike M.

Mike has been a technician at VCA since June, 1998. He has lived in the Seacoast area since he was in high school. When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Mike states:
" I enjoy working with VCA Animal Medical Center because of the crew and doctors we have on hand. Most of us have been with this company for a long period of time and it makes it feel like a family away from home."

Mike is one of the technicians who enjoys working directly in the rooms with clients, assisting the doctors. He likes this aspect of his job because it allows him to help make the client and their animals feel relaxed and free of worry. He adds that he "likes to play around with the animals as well, as it is a great way he can connect with his patients."

In his spare time, Mike enjoys various outdoor activities: hiking, biking, geocaching, kayaking, snowboarding, scuba diving, and camping. He is also a Brown Belt in "Isshin-Ryu" karate. In the future, he will be pursuing his Black Belt.

Mike shares his home with a black lab, Mercedes, who likes to sleep and take long walks. His second "fuzzy beast" is Allycat, who has been with Mike for 10 years and loves to chase her toys and eat. She is still quite the spitfire too!
