"My name is Heather and I have had the joy of working as a veterinary technician for the past 9 years. I started working with animals because like a lot of little girls, I wanted to hug puppies and kittens all day. I continue to work with animals because I enjoy being able to help animals in need.
I had the pleasure of joining the fantastic team at VCA Animal Healing Center in October of 2013. While I really enjoyed the pace of the animal emergency room for the past 8 years, I was ready to build lasting relationships with my patients and their owners. At the VCA Animal Healing Center, one can really get a sense of family and I could not be more excited to be a part of it."

I started working with animals when I was just 14 years old and have been dedicated to helping pets ever since. I have been a vet tech for more than 19 years and could never imagine doing anything else, in fact I have never had another job. I always new I wanted to be a part of this amazing profession where we not only get to help animals but also people in a big way. I only hope that I can one day impact the same compassion and empathy for not just cats and dogs but all living creatures to my daughter Grace.

"Hi my name is Micky, and I am a veterinary technician at the VCA Animal Healing Center. I could not imagine doing anything else with my profession other than working with animals every day. I started rescue work in 1990 and became a Veterinary Technician in 2001, and have been one since then. Throughout my life, I have spent my time caring for and comforting animals. It is my true passion, and what I love."
