Heather has been with our team since 2013. She has been a veterinary technician in emergency medicine since 2006. She grew up in Bucks County and has lived in the tri-state area her entire life. Currently, she has two pit bull mixes, Charlie and Zena. When not at work, Heather enjoys playing rugby, skiing, and being outdoors.
"My name is Heather and I have had the joy of working as a veterinary technician for the past 9 years. I started working with animals because like a lot of little girls, I wanted to hug puppies and kittens all day. I continue to work with animals because I enjoy being able to help animals in need.
I had the pleasure of joining the fantastic team at VCA Animal Healing Center in October of 2013. While I really enjoyed the pace of the animal emergency room for the past 8 years, I was ready to build lasting relationships with my patients and their owners. At the VCA Animal Healing Center, one can really get a sense of family and I could not be more excited to be a part of it."
Kim has been with us since 2008. She grew up in Titusville NJ and currently resides in Ewing NJ with her Rottweiler Tyson and 4 cats, Tofu, Brody,Monster and Little. Kim is a graduate of Delaware Valley College with a degree in equine science.
"I became a veterinary technician to improve the quality of life and health of animals. Even as a child I have wanted to be involved in the medical care of animals. Of course back then I said I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. I have as of yet been unable to complete the schoool to become a vet so I have become the next best thing, a veterinary technician. I enjoy educating clients on proper ways of caring for their beloved companions to give them the longest and healtiest possible life."

Elizabeth has been a member of our team since 2008. She lives in Bucks County with her Boyfriend, Joe, and their fur children Finn (Rhodesian Ridgeback) and their cats Rigby and Henry. Outside of work Elizabeth enjoys hiking with Finn, going to concerts, and routing on Philadelphia sport teams!
"My name is Elizabeth and I have worked at the VCA Animal Healing Center on and off for about six years. My entire world revolves around animals. I have tried different professions (including being a chemist!), but the holistic care we give at the VCA Animal Healing Center is so unique, I am back permenantly. I have seen so many amazing things happen and the practice has prolonged so many pets' lives, including my own. I am so enthusiastic about holistic medicine, that I have even changed how I live my personal life."
Shannon has been part of our team since 2006. She shares her home with 4 cats, Moo, Elfie. Boo and Kitty, in addition to taking care of and helping to find homes for several feral cats. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach taking walks in the park, knitting and baking.
"Please hold your "a-paws" for the end! I'm Shannon, and I started at VCA Animal Healing Center back in 2006. In my time here, I've been lucky to learn the ins, outs, and all-abouts of working in an animal hospital that uses both conventional, veterinary medicine, and time-tested holistic healing techniques. I love meeting and caring for the old and new faces of our furry, funny family - oh yeah, and the owners are cool, too!
I realized at a young age I was born to work with animals. I was a crazy cat lady even as a kid, smuggling (and snuggling) in the countless strays that would congregate on the back porch, often to the exasperation of my parents. I love my place in the veterinary world because I can put my passion for helping animals into work every day. When it's over, my reward is a purr of thanks, or a sloppy, wet kiss on the cheek - oh, and I'm sure the animals are thankful too!
Micky has been a technician for 12 yrs. She started her career working with homeless animals at 2 shelters in Monmouth County, NJ. She joined Animal Healing Center in Nov 2011.

"Hi my name is Micky, and I am a veterinary technician at the VCA Animal Healing Center. I could not imagine doing anything else with my profession other than working with animals every day. I started rescue work in 1990 and became a Veterinary Technician in 2001, and have been one since then. Throughout my life, I have spent my time caring for and comforting animals. It is my true passion, and what I love."
