"My life long love for animals led me to a career in Veterinary medicine over 20 years ago.  Today I feel honored to be working at a hospital that not only gives the best quality of alternative and conventional care to our patients but we truly feel that each client and pet that walks through our door are like extended family to us.  I love my job because it not only allows me to be close to pets every day but I get to be a part of healing these patients and making sure that our clients are happy with the care we give and help assure them to trust in us enough to let us take care of their babies throughout their lives."

    Rachel Jasionowski

Rachel has been working with VCA since 2008, she started as a receptionist at VCA Neshaminy and then went to work as a hospital manager with VCA in 2009. Rachel was born and raised in North East Philadelphia but now resides in North Wales, PA. Her passion is to arthritis pain management and behavior modifications. In her spare time Rachel loves to crochet, paint, go to comic conventions but most of all spend time with her husband Jimmy and their pets Gumby (American Staffordshire Terrier), Serenity, Rose Tyler and Dean Winchester (Domestic Short Hair Cats).

Since kindergarten every first day of school my mom would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. The first year I said ballerina and after that I always said a veterinarian. As I have gotten older it means more than helping animals. I wanted to help pet parents understand their pet's health and behavior, so more animals can have a healthy and happy life and not end up in shelters or re-homed. I feel the bond between human and animals is the most rewarding.
