Danielle Perrone-Fredrickson, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Danielle Perrone grew up in Suffolk County and received her Bachelor of Science degree at SUNY Stony Brook in 2005. Following undergrad she was accepted in to Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2009. After graduation, Dr Perrone came back to New York, where she completed a one-year general internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island in West Islip. She joined Animal General in 2010 and since then has established herself as a trusted Veterinarian alongside Dr. Ellen.  She has also gained experience in wildlife rehabilitation, and serves as an advisory board member for Volunteers for Wildlife, one of Long Island's most respected wildlife rehabilitation organizations.  Her professional interests include clinical and anatomic pathology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

When not in the office, Dr. Perrone enjoys running, snowboarding, and cooking.  She resides in Suffolk County with her husband, Sean and their dogs "Bentley" and "Brooklyn".  "Brooklyn" is one of the official greeters and assists Dr. Ellen's dog in welcoming everyone to the hospital!  Dr. Perrone also has two cats, "Slinky" and "Cindy" and a milk snake, "Jake".
