  • Cali's First Visit

    -LaTora from Norfolk, VA
    Pet Name: Cali

Pet Image Cali's first visit here was a great one. The receptionists were very friendly and Dezora was very informative (thanks Dezora)! While waiting for the doctor, we got to meet some amazing dogs w/ amazing parents :) After Cali's visit with Dr. Thompson...all I can say is that he's the BEST!!! Thanks Dr. Thompson :)

  • Tottenham

    -Renwick from Norfolk, VA
    Pet Name: Tot

Pet Image My dog Tot and I are very grateful for the level of care he has recieved from both Dr. Powers and Dr. Thompson. It all started about 2 years ago when Dr. Powers saved his life from parvo. This year he broke two teeth and Dr. Thompson did an excellent job fixing him up. The staff and doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate and I'm sure Tot will keep me coming back for more!

  • Ted and Alice

-Bob and Carole from Norfolk, VA
Pet Name: Ted and Alice Parsons

Pet Image We found Ted and Alice thru the Pet Rescue organization at PetSmart on Military Highway in Norfolk. Ironically, they were born under a house on A View Avenue just about 2 miles from where we live. They are inseparable and will be three years old next month. When Alice was a little kitten she was licking her fur constantly. The doctor at VCA diagnosed her condition as a food allergy and prescribed Hills Prescription ZD. Alice now has a beautiful coat and has been very healthy ever since. We love the gentle care that Ted and Alice get from the VCA staff members.

  • Sophie

    -Angela Mazzio from Norfolk, VA
    Pet Name: Sophie

My dog Sophie always seems to have something wrong with her, from the time she hurt her foot to the time she ate my son's inhaler. Dr. Powers and Dr. Thompson have both aided in her care and enjoy seeing her even though she can prove to be a challanging patient. I feel like the staff at VCA are a part of my family and I am glad they take such great care of Sophie.

  • You guys are the best

    -Amber Karnes from Norfolk, VA
    Pet Name: Kyla

Pet Image The staff at VCA Animal Care Center is awesome. I have a rescue dog, Kyla, who is an older girl with some trust and fear issues. Abby and Amanda make our vet visits as positive and easy as going to the vet can be! They treat Kyla with so much kindess and care. She had surgery earlier this year and Dr. Thompson did a wonderful job and everyone put my mind at ease. Kyla made a full recovery and is doing great. We just adopted another Boston terrier, Jasper, and are looking forward to introducing him to everyone. Thanks guys!

  • Dr. Thompson is the BEST

    -Mariann from Virginia Beach, VA
    Pet Name: Floyd

Pet Image We followed Dr. Thompson from another veterinary office because he was so compassionate and one of the best vets we had ever seen. All our pets love him. We have had pets for years and he ranks up there as #1 in our book. Thanks Dr. Thompson.
