    Amy Hensley has been with Animal Care for 10 years! She attended Virginia Tech. and has bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Her hobbies include, any sports- baseball is a favorite and movies. Amy's pets include Black dog,Buster,Roscoe,Daisey, Jake,Lexie, and two cats Kitty and Lucy.

    Evelyn Elko

    Evelyn is the most amazing team member! At any time you can find here everywhere doing everything to support all the docs and techs and receptionists and groomers! She fills in for us all and keeps us going! In her time away from VCA she enjoys hiking and horses - she lives on a farm and has all kinds of pets and lots of them!

    Crysty Perkins
    School: VA Tech, Animal Science

    Crysty is new to our team! she has been with us for just over 6 months now! Crysty graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Animal Science. She has over 12 years of experience in the animal field. She has worked at the Richmond SPCA, Ambassador Animal Hospital, and Prince George Animal Control. She has been to Tijuana, Chapas, Thailand, Brazil, Germany, Tanzania, Morocco, Romania, and Belize over the years on mission trips with her church.

    Crysty also enjoys volleyball, football, hiking, and she is also a wedding and portrait photographer. She has 5 dogs Timo, Kura, Berk, Cyrus, and Tiki as well as 3 cats Huck, Marmalade, and Mishka.

    Back in September 2012 She had her first child, a son, who gives her a new purpose for living, whom she loves with an indescribable affection that surpasses all understanding.

    Tara has been with Animal Care Associates for 20 years!  Outside of work she enjoys reading, watching movies, going to the beach, and spending time with her great dane Daisy Duke, dalmation Dottie Mae, beagle P-Diddle, and cats Blue and Lily Mae.
