School: Veterinary Tech Institute, Certified Veterinary Technician
Hi, I'm Tina. I have been in Veterinary medicine since 1989. Before becoming a technician, I volunteered a lot of time with Lewisville Animal Control (my father happened to work there). I have been with VCA Angel since 2003, each year it gets better with all the new client services we now offer. I love working with our Rescue groups that come into the hospital. It is so much fun to watch each pet come out of their shell. In my spare time I like to read and sew and spend time on the baseball field. I have two children 10 years apart from each other. I also have fur babies; one dog- Cassie, and two cats - Ashley and Marshmellow. I'm looking forward to seeing your and your fur-baby the next time your in!

Veterinary AssistantJamie L.
Hi! I'm Jamie, one of the Veterinary Technicians at VCA Angel. I've been working the veterinary field since 2009, and have done a little bit of everything short of manager or Veterinarian. I've worked at a VCA clinic in my hometown prior to VCA Angel. I've been with Angel since 2014 and love working for VCA. I am proud of all it does to give back to the community and help our clients and patients. I love coming to work every day and seeing patients and clients - it never gets old. I have two dogs: my sunshine, Rylie (a Shetland Sheepdog) and Yuki (an American Eskimo), as well as a cat named Tupper (an Angora mix). When I am not at work, I like to draw, write, read and play video games, as well as spend time with my pets, my friends and family. I'm studying to further my career in veterinary medicine at this time and hope to stay in the field for a long time to come!
