I have been involved with animals since I was 11. I was the adoption councilor for Friends of Auburn/Placer county rescue group, and for the Placer SPCA. I ran adoptions at Petco on Sundays for 6 years. I took on my first job in a veterinary hospital at the age of 14. I have been working in the field ever since. I aspire to become a veterinarian after working for at least 5 years as a Veterinary Assistant for the hands on experience. I have 3 cats, Patches, Ginger, and Max, 3 guppies and a thorough breed horse. I am a member of the Painted Ladies Rodeo Performers.

My name is Stephanie Wahab and I've been working at VCA American River Animal hospital since 2002. I've lived in Orangevale my whole life. I graduated from Chico State in 2009 with a degree in animal science. specializing in large animals. I'm currently working on my veterinary application. I live with my family, which includes my dog, cats, chickens, bunnies, and quinea pigs.
