She and her husband, Darrin, share their home with their Aussie "Xodie", and Pug, "Cirby"

    I have been involved with animals since I was 11. I was the adoption councilor for Friends of Auburn/Placer county rescue group, and for the Placer SPCA. I ran adoptions at Petco on Sundays for 6 years. I took on my first job in a veterinary hospital at the age of 14. I have been working in the field ever since. I aspire to become a veterinarian after working for at least 5 years as a Veterinary Assistant for the hands on experience. I have 3 cats, Patches, Ginger, and Max, 3 guppies and a thorough breed horse. I am a member of the Painted Ladies Rodeo Performers.

I graduated from Chico State in 2009 with a degree in animal science. specializing in large animals. I'm currently working on my veterinary application. I live with my family, which includes my dog, cats, chickens, bunnies, and quinea pigs.
