VCA Almaden Valley Animal Hospital

Veterinary Support

  • Technician Supervisor

    Lindsey K.

Lindsey has been a technician for 13 years and couldn't imagine doing anything else. She is the Technician Supervisor at VCA Almaden Valley, and has worked here since 2006. She has worked mostly in dog/cat practices and one hospital where they saw only birds. She loves working with wildlife and has had about 6 years of experience working with animals in a wildlife program called W.E.R.C. She has two dogs and a very talkative cat that she pulled out of the bushes when he was only a couple days old and raised it by hand. She loves the staff and hospital here because she says that we are like a family and that is a rare thing to find in an occupation.

  • Registered Veterinary Technician

    Ashley B.

Ashley started interning with us back in January of 2012 she was then hired on five months later. She graduated from the Foothill Veterinary Technician Program in 2012 and is registered in California and nationally. Currently she has two rats and two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever (pictured above) but loves all animals! On her days off you can find her running, hanging out with friends and family or relaxing by the pool.

  • Registered Veterinary Technician

    Joanna B.
    Veterinary Tech School: Foothill College

Joanna recently joined our team in April of 2014.  She graduated from Foothill College in June of 2014 with her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology.  Soon she will take her California State board exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.  When she is not at work she loves to cook, run and go on adventures with her rescued puggle named Molly.  She loves to practice a high standard of patient care in a positive atmosphere, and we are glad that she found that at VCA.

  • Registered Veterinary Technician

    Ana O.

Ana has been with our team since May of 2011 as an intern, and shortly after that we hired her!  She graduated from Carrington College with an Associates Degree in Animal Science and got her Registered Veterinary Technician license after passing the California boards.  Part of her dog pack includes a Chihuahua named Kilo and a very busy and hyper Staffordshire Terrier pup named Karlitos.  Because of her busy animal house, she has lots of knowledge to impart to new pet owners and loves to give client education.  On her free time, she loves to find new places and trails to explore with her beloved pets.

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Michelle F.

Michelle came to VCA in February of 2014 after her years of marine mammal experience in Santa Barbara.  She graduated in 2013 from UC Santa Barbara with her Bachelors Degree in Zoology.   Her 2 kitties, Arthur and Goose, keep her very busy and she loves coming home to their rambunctious personalities.  She is originally from Santa Clarita, California and enjoys spending her time off hiking and spending time with family and friends.  She is interested in Wildlife rescue and loves learning something new everyday.

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Hannah H.

Hannah joined the VCA team back in 2011 after she finished her internship. She has been with us ever since and loves everyday of it. Her favorite dogs are the bully breeds and hopes to one day own a mastiff. In her free time she helps foster pets from rescues and go hiking.

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Jasmin L.

Jazmin started at VCA in 2007 as a kennel attendant.  She has since worked throughout the hospital and has become our go-to girl for anything that needs to be done.  She is currently attending classes working towards getting her degree.  She shares her life with 3 dogs, Tia, Nito, and Chayito.  She grew up in San Jose and enjoys riding her bicycle and visiting the beach with her dogs.  She loves working with animals and teaching clients how to make the most of their pets lives.

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Amanda M.

Amanda grew up in Angels Camp, California with many pets.  She has been in the veterinary field since 2003 and with VCA Almaden Valley since 2009.  When she is not at work she likes to spend time with her 2 dogs Skiba and Suzie.
