Technician SupervisorGina Lawson
My name is Gina, and I’ve been a veterinary technician since 2006. I am fortunate to work at VCA Allenwood where I can blend my passion for veterinary medicine and management. I earned an MBA in 2008 and am currently pursuing a degree and certification in veterinary technology. My former dog Mikey sparked my love of animals and taught me about kindness, compassion, and respect for our four legged companions. I was lucky to have spent fifteen years with him, and my goal is to give all of our patients the same opportunity to live a long and healthy life. My husband James and I live with our three rescued pets: Orville and Scout (our cats) and Taco (our Chihuahua).
Nancy has been a technician at VCA Allenwood since 2003. Although Nancy is here part time, her contagious energy is felt throughout the hospital everyday. Hard work, a positive attitude, and genuine care for our patients and their families make her a valuable part of our team! Nancy lives with her husband and kitties and spends much of her free time cooking us delicious meals.
I have always had a love for animals and enjoyed interacting with them since I was a little girl. I was lucky enough to be hired as a technician at a private practice for 4 years. I am a newer member of the VCA family. I worked at a Florida VCA for 2 years and transferred back to NJ. I’ve attended seminars and have had amazing hands on experience throughout my career as a technician. I have four wonderful Springer Spaniels and a Cavalier. Sadie, Ruby and Chunck live with my parents. Chloe (who I consider my best friend) and Sookie live with my fiancé and I. On my free time I enjoy going to the beach, taking my dogs for a run, nature walks, basically anything outdoors and hanging out with my family.
My name is Jacqui and I have been with Allenwood Animal Hospital since February 2014. I came into Veterinary medicine after receiving my Bachelors in Marine Biology. I attended Harcum College in Bryn Mawr PA and received my Associates in Veterinary Technology in 2013. I am a current candidate to sit for my Veterinary Technician National Exam. I love helping in surgery and working with our exotic patients. I currently live with my fiance and our 5 year old Jersey Wooley Rabbit, Gizmo. We also co-own a wonderful rescued Pit Bull named Gigi. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and baking.
Hi, my name is Taylor and I've had the privilege of working in the veterinary field since 2012. I moved to New Jersey in December 2014 from San Diego thanks to the military and started my journey at Allenwood Animal Hospital the following April. I live with my husband (newlyweds!) and our two Siberian Huskies Kiarah and Kovu and our black Abyssinian, Calvin. My favorite things to do include taking the dogs camping and hiking, going to the beach, and Disneyland when I get the opportunity. I am currently in school to further my skills and knowledge as a technician, and graduate in 2018!
