We would like to tell you a little about our hospital and our staff. We are proud to be a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA hospitals are voluntarily inspected to make sure they maintain the highest standard of animal care. We have been honored to receive our four-year accreditation; this is the highest level of achievement and one that only 10% of AAHA hospitals reach.
Our Medical Director, Kirsten Cianci VMD, and our two associate veterinarians, Glen Stockett DVM and Katherine Sinko VMD, have been with the practice since the summer of 2000. They all regularly participate in continuing educational seminars to be current in the latest medical advancements.
From the front desk to the exam rooms, to the kennel area and the surgical suite, the rest of our team brings a great deal of experience and enthusiasm to Allenwood.
We pride ourselves on treating your pets as if they were our own. Our mission statement states it all: Your pet’s health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal.
Local Medical IssuesJersey Shore Animal Center Fundraiser
VCA Charities actively donates to charities around the country. At a recent team meeting, the idea came up to create a local fundraiser here at Allenwood!
From April to June 2011, we held a fundraising effort for JSAC. Clients were asked to donate $1 and receive a paw print, which would be displayed around the front desk of our office. Clients opened their hearts and their wallets, and we ultimately surpassed our goal of $1000! Even better, VCA Charities matched the donations with an additional $1000.
On September 14, 2011, Tracey Roth and Dr. Cianci presented Pat, the shelter director, with a check for $2015! That will buy a lot of cat and dog food!

And thanks to everyone, inside the hospital and out, for making this fundraiser such a success!
