  Caring staff

  We had to put down our 12 year old dog due to cancer. The staff at VCA Allen Park Animal Hospital was so wonderful. The experience was made so much easier due to their caring and thoughtfulness. (They were always great while she was getting care there too!)

  Our dog loves to visit the vet which is rare for most animals. She is especially attached to one of the technician's whose name is Kim. She treats her special and makes her feel at ease while we are there. Loves the belly rubs she gives her and would do things for her she would not consider doing for us.   LIFE SAVERS

  Our black lab was not even one yet and he got hit by a car and lost all his nerves in his front leg we took him to MSU they recommended amputation but they said there was a chance he could regain feeling so we waited but a couple of months past and he had got a cut on his leg and began chewing at it we desperately searched for a vet who would be willing to work with us, even the human society said they wouldn't let us make payments we applied for care credit but were denied and after calling what seemed like 100 vets we were considering just surrendering him but the human society told us if we did they would put him down that's not very humane if you ask me he was still a puppy but we luckily called Allen park VCA they were so compassionate to us and our dog mike they understood our dire situation and took mike and they fixed him up and SAVED HIS LIFE if not for the compassionate caring staff at VCA Allen park i do not think we would still have our beloved dog, our family is forever grateful.

  I started taking my puppy (English Bulldog) Beefy to VCA for his shots when I got him. The staff is very helpful and make u feel like your pet is their own. Dr. Fields is the best vet I know. She took to extra time to explain everything about our puppy that needed to be done. And also she specializes in bulldogs which is GREAT. And the Vet Assistant Blanche... is OUTSTANDING... she raises Bulldogs of her own. And when Beefy had to stay the whole days getting treatment she told me she would take CARE of him like he was her own. Every time I'm there is always tells me take care of my Beefy ... VCA Allen Park is the best VET around and I would recommend them to anyone I know!!!!!

  Loved Dr. Field

  I took my two beloved cats in for a check up and rabies vaccination. Dr. Field handled them with love and compassion. They didn't even know they got a shot. I could feel her genuine love for animals and I appreciated her weight control advice for Bailey. When I told her about the raccoon that keeps getting in my attic I got the feeling that she almost wished the raccoon were at her house (me too). Dr. Field loves animals and that makes all the difference in the quality of care they get. Great place!!

  I am so pleased with the staff especially Kim Raupp, for tending to my dog. We had him at an emergency vet and his regular vet and they didn't help him. And I took him to VCA and they took such wonderful care of him. Not only did they explain what was going on, they gave me options to help fix him. And they loved on him in the process - so Thank you very much.

  Very helpful and understanding

  We took our cat into VCA in Allen Park thanks to a friends recommendation. For once we found a vet that didn't tell us that our cat needs all these shots first before they would help her with her ailments. They did the blood tests and wrote up a list of things that she needed done. Being on a fixed income, we couldn't afford to do everything, so they pointed out the more serious things that she needed immediately. They were very understanding of our financial situation and our emotional attachments to our sweet Callie. It's a very clean and friendly environment to take your pet to and I'd recommend it to anyone :-)

  Happy New Client For Maya

  We have a puppy named Maya: She is approximately 10-12 weeks old. We took her to VCA animal hospital because we'd been there for the first time a few months ago when we had to have our beloved dog mason put down. I stuck with them because they were so kind and caring, and they even sent a card in the mail with everyone's condolences, signed. When we got Maya, and we took her in they were so good to us, and to her. They answered any and every question we had, and we didn't feel rushed even though the wonderful vets there are so busy. We got the puppy package, and even though some things are costly, I would rather spend my money for wonderful service there than chancing anywhere else. Thank you VCA animal hospital of Allen Park for being so good to us!
