    Kimberly Raupp

I have always had a passion for animals. There were always puppies, dogs, and cats that "followed me home", when I was a child. I begged my mom for a pony, and was convinced it could live in the shed in our suburban backyard. I always knew that I would some how work with animals when I grew up.

I am married with three children. I am owned by four dogs, six cats, two parrots, and a variety of exotic pets, including "Bubba", the fifty-five pound tortoise. I attended the veterinary technician program held at Wayne State, and became a licensed veterinary technician.

I joined the VCA Allen Park Animal Hospital family in 2004. I enjoy every day interactions with our wonderful clients and our patients. Am dedicated to providing the best care possible and treat each patient as if they were my own pet. I have continued my education and enjoy counseling owners on nutrition and how they too, can help their pet companions live a long and healthy life.

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Andria Miles

My name is Andria Miles. I have been working as a Licensed Technician for 4 years. I love my job because I can see different breeds of dogs and cats and assist in caring for them. My passion for animals started when I was a young child. My first pet was a stray dog wandering around the parking lot at Kmart looking for food. I remember her coming up to our van and me asking my dad, several times, if I could keep her. When he finally said yes, I was so excited. We named her Lady. At home I have 2 dogs, Sam (miniature Schnauzer) and Giant (Rottweiler) and 1 cat name Kitty Yit-T. My second passion is grooming. I always enjoyed the finished look after Sam got groomed, so I decided to start grooming him myself. After a while I wanted to get certified so I started groom school at Penn Foster and was certificated August 2011. I now groom my family member’s pets.

    Kim Bodenschatz

Hi my name is Kim. I’m currently the mom of several rescued Chihuahuas, 2 cats and a bird. I have always loved animals. They have been a major part of my life. I have done obedience and agility in the past. I have worked as a technician for approximately 20 years. I find it very rewarding helping pets stay healthy and to help them recover from an illness.

I have a son with M.S. so my dogs get to spend time visiting in the nursing home which they totally enjoy! I believe dogs are not just my pets but are family members and bring so much joy to my life!

  • Technician

    Jessica Kolb

Hello! My name is Jessica and I am a technician here at VCA Allen Park Animal Hospital. I have enjoyed the veterinary field for over two years now, and am working towards becoming a licensed veterinary technician. I love to lounge around with my cats, Adelaide, Genevieve and my newest kitten Nibbles. I also like to spend time with my friends and family and read on down time. My favorite part about my job (besides playing with puppies and kittens!), is the knowledge that I gain to help our pets live long, healthy lives.

    Craig Sklarczyk

Hello my name is Craig and I am a Technician at VCA Allen Park. As far back as I can remember I have always wanted to help animals. Prior to coming to VCA, I volunteered at Wyandotte Animal Shelter and enjoyed helping the animals there. I am currently attending Wayne State University to become a licensed Veterinarian Technician and plan to continue on to pursue a bachelors in biology degree. I have a 3 year old Shiba Inu named Chloe and a short-haired cat named Tiger. I have always wanted to get a job in the animal field and am very happy and honored to work at VCA.

I've spent most of my life in Michigan and I love living here. I went to Harrison High school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University. I've recently gone back to school to get my associates in Veterinary Technology. Guess you can say I love learning.

I've recently started teaching dog obedience here at VCA Allen Park Animal Hospital. One of the things that I wanted out of my job when I was deciding on my career was to be able to help people in some way. Guess you can say I've found 2 careers that allow me to do that on a daily basis.

When I have the free time outside of work I like to read, watch movies (I worked in the movie theater arena for over 10 years, guess I've fallen in love with them), knit and crochet. I also love spending time outdoors whenever possible.

I'm Zach. I grew up in Downriver, MI and have lived here all my life. I started out in the veterinary field as a volunteer at the Dearborn Animal Shelter in 2009. I was interested in the work so I applied at VCA Allen Park Animal Hospital in December of 2009. Working with animals looked like a great field to me and I'm happy to work here. At home, I have 2 cats named Gelb (pronounced Gelp) and Betty.
