    Rachel Bradford
    Veterinary Tech School: Broadview University

    Rachel has worked for VCA since April 2013 after graduating from Broadview University with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and pets.  She has a poodle mix named Kingston and a cat named Juno.  Her favorite thing about her job is being able to help people and their pets, and seeing the bond they have.

    Cindy Chico
    Veterinary Tech School: Broadview University

    Cindy has been working with VCA since March 2013.  She has always had a love for animals and decided to further her education so she graduated with an associates degree in Applied Science for Veterinary Technology from Broadview University.  She has been married since 2010 and has 3 furry children, Chance her Pomeranian and 2 cats, Sancho and Tigger.  She always has room for more! Cindy enjoys being outdoors in nature, hiking, camping, watching her husband fish, snowboarding, sledding and Bar B Q's in the summer and winter.  She loves working at VCA and getting a chance to meet and know our clients and patients.  Each one is unique in their own way and the VCA atmosphere keeps her on her toes and that's what she loves about her job: you never know what's going to happen!

    Jean Gonzalez

    Jean started working with us in June 2011. His passion for animals started from growing up on a farm in Colombia. He is currently going to the University of Utah to major in biology. If he isn't at school or at work, he is spending time with his 9-year-old dachshund Harley and his Husky/Malamute puppy Captain. He loves coming to work knowing he is making a difference in people's lives and their pets lives. He speaks Spanish fluently and enjoys spending time with each patient. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going on trips, and playing with his dogs. Nothing makes him happier than seeing a smile on a clients face and their pets.

    Sarah LaMay
    Veterinary Tech School: Utah Career College

    Sarah started working for VCA in September 2004. She has a degree in Applied Sciences of Veterinary Technology from Utah Career College. She has a passion for all animals and has helped all kinds varying from large to small to exotic to wild. She has 2 horses Little Man and Tex, 2 Husky mixes Frank the Tank and Kyle Jr, a Beagle mix Lucy and 2 cats, George the Groper and the Pepper Cat.

    She is married and has 3 beautiful children, Hannah, Lexi and David.  She loves to spend time outside with her animals and family boating, hiking, camping and a new found love of gardening.

    Michi Wasden
    Veterinary Tech School: Utah Career College

    Michi has worked for VCA since 2007.  She graduated from Utah Career College in 2008 with a degree in Applied Science for Veterinary Technology.  Michi enjoys spending time with her family and eating Chinese food.  She currently has one male cat named Iggy.

    Jessica Carruthers
    Veterinary Tech School: Broadview University

    Jessica started working at VCA in 2016 and will soon graduate from Broadview University for Veterinary Technology.  Before going to school she was a dog trainer for over 5 years.  She has always had a passion for animals and that has grown even more after getting her German Shepherd Hondo, who she trained to be a therapy dog for the hospital.  Before working with animals she was a professional swimmer and was a 2012 Olympic qualifier.  A shoulder injury ended her career and so she transitioned into working with animals. Jessica will always love swimming and competition but helping animals every day is to her the best feeling in the world!


  • Veterinary Assistant

    Matt Baisch

    Matt has been with VCA since April of 2015 and he has never been happier! He has a cat that he adopted from CAWS when she was 3 weeks old.  Everyone in his family is big on furry friends with a total of 3 dogs and 6 cats all together.  He loves spending time with his cat Piper and going on hikes with his girlfriend and her dog Bellatrix. He can mostly be seen working in our reception area, but also helps us out as a veterinary assistant.  He loves making sure everyone is getting in and out as quickly as he can and making sure they are happy.
