VCA All About Pets Animal Hospital

Hiroko Hata, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Western University of Health Sciences

Biography

Dr. Hiroko Hata joined VCA All About Pets Animal Hospital in October 2012.  She had previously worked at VCA San Martin for over a year.  She was born and raised in Japan and moved to southern California when she was 10.  Dr. Hata received her DVM degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2008.  She completed an intensive rotating internship in Tucson, Arizona, where she discovered her love for emergency medicine, internal medicine, neurology...and dachshunds!

When not in the clinic, she can be found spoiling her rescue dog Bunny (not a dachshund) at local beaches and trails, volunteering for a trap, neuter, and release feral cat program, and discovering new restaurants and trying new food in the Bay Area.
