Biography
Dr. Suzie Friedman graduated from Colorado State University in 2010, and completed a rotating internship at VCA Newark Animal Hospital in Newark, Delaware in 2011. After being a mental health therapist for approximately 10 years, Suzie took on the challenge of pursuing her life long dream of becoming a veterinarian. Suzie loves her second career and can't imagine doing anything else. Suzie and her fiancee Josh moved to Alaska in August 2011 after they decided the Colorado mountains just weren't big enough for their sense of adventure! They are now proud parents of a very large standard poodle named Bert who is the center of their universe, and generous enough to share his home with them. In his spare time, Bert loves taking Suzie and Josh hiking, back-packing, cross country skiing, and simply running around like crazy.
