VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital

Kelly Kattman, DVM, Staff Veterinarian

DVM, Cornell University

Dr. Kattman was born in Colorado but spent most of her childhood in Western New York. She graduated with a B.S. degree from Duke University in 1993 and then continued her education at Cornell University where she received her veterinary degree. Dr. Kattman then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Animal Hospital of Pittsford in Rochester, NY. She worked for several years in a large hospital in Massachusetts before joining the staff at Alameda East in 2004. In 2008, Dr. Kattman moved to Vermont but returned to Denver in the summer of 2009, happy to rejoin the staff at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Kattman is most interested in general practice and preventative health care but also enjoys internal medicine, dermatology, and radiology. When she is not at work, Dr. Kattman enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children. Her cat, Harry, completes the household. Pre-motherhood, Dr. Kattman was an avid masters swimmer. Now she spends most of her down-time chasing her kids and spending time outdoors.
