Dr. Kanuka was born and raised in Edmonton, Canada. This is where she completed her undergraduate degree at Concordia University of Edmonton. She went on to complete her DVM and MSc at St. George's University and her clinical rotations at Oregon State University. After graduation, she moved to Las Vegas and spent one year in general practice before moving to Los Angeles and transitioning to emergency medicine. Her professional interests include emergency medicine and surgery.
