    Holly B.

    Holly joined our team in April of 2009. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a Biomedical Science degree. From there she moved to Austin where she worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet tech for 2 years. After that Holly decided to move back up to the metroplex to be closer to family. Holly enjoys working with a larger staff, and being able to learn from each one of them. When she is not working or spending time with family, she enjoys taking her border collie, Bear, to the dog park for some good excerise!

    Christian C.

    Christian joined our team in April of 2011. She has spent years working with horses, most recently as a riding instructor. She loves all animals, and enjoys being around them on a daily basis. Christian owns two dogs, Scout and Tucker, a cat named Fancy, and two horses, Rocky and Flirt. Her dream is to have a ranch that pairs horses with disabled children.

    Kara J

    Kara joined the VCA Advanced Care team in April of 2013. Prior to working with us, Kara owned a dog training business for 10 years where she trained dogs for state, local and federal agencies. She specialized in training for narcotics, explosives, search and rescue and working with aggressive animals. She has four dogs and one cat at home, Sara, a German Shepherd, Wendall, a Pekingese, Yum Yum, a Pekingese, Spanky, a Chihuahua mix, and Kitty Tom, a Domestic Shorthair. She enjoys spending time with her animals and her husband, cooking and reading.

    Jessi joined our team in May of 2012. Prior to working with us, Jessi did in-home pet care. At home Jessi has three adorable dachshunds, Nellie, a chocolate dachshund, Sookie, a dachshund mix, and Maggie, a red dachshund. In her spare time, she enjoys music, movies and spending time with her family.

    Amanda W.

    Amanda joined our team in January of 2011. Born and raised in the DFW area, she completed her degree in Animal Science at Tarleton University in 2009. Amanda would like to someday work as a nurse manager at an equine emergency hospital. She has three pets - a shepherd mix named Aleutian, a Blue Heeler mix named Apache and a horse named Twinkle. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, camping, and many other outdoor activities.

    Lauren W.

    Lauren joined our team in July of 2011. She has been working with animals all her life, beginning with the Future Farmers of America, where she was VP and Treasurer of her local chapter. Lauren has also worked for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She has three pets - a cat named Spartacus, and two dogs - Rio, a german shorthaired pointer, and Annie, a chocolate lab. Lauren is currently attending school and aspires to be an equine vet.
