Sandy began her position as hospital administrator at VCA Abbott Animal Hospital in July 2012. She has been in the veterinary field for 10 years, during which she has worked as a veterinary assistant, a technician intern at the Animal Medical Center in NYC, a licensed veterinary technician, and several managerial positions at teaching hospitals and specialty / emergency veterinary facilities. Prior to the veterinary field, Sandy worked with an international association management and lobbying firm in Washington, DC. In her free time Sandy enjoys travelling throughout the New England area, motorcycling, and hiking with her Great Pyrenees Teddy.
