    Maureen Rountree. AKA: "Mauri". The "Mauri" is a shortened form of Maureen that her parents came up with when she was young, and it has stuck. Mauri was born in Portland and has lived here her entire life. When she was a child she always had an interest in animals. Mauri knew where every dog and cat in the neighborhood lived. She also had an interest in medicine. While a High School senior, She found out about the Veterinary Technology program at Portland Community College. This is a 2 year program that was made for her and she did everything she could to get accepted for it. Mauri did take a year of preparatory classes prior to her admission tests. She graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program in the Spring of 1981 and passed the Certification test that spring also and has worked in her chosen profession ever since. Mostly in a single doctor practice. Mauri is an advocate of "continuing education and has worked hard to keep abreast of the new and current developments in veterinary medicine. Mauri truly loves her job.

    Meadow Spencer
    Veterinary Tech School: Portland Community College

    Meadow grew up on a farm outside Silverton Oregon where she developed her great love and respect for animals. She started her career in 1997, went to Chemketa Community College in Salem, and graduated from Portland Community College with her Certified Technician Degree in 2000. She loves what she does and appreciates helping animals in a field that is constantly growing, changing and improving.
