Dr. Decker is a 2002 graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated cum laude, was inducted to the Phi Zeta National Veterinary Honor Society, and received several scholarships and awards including the Alan Hart Clinical Proficiency Award, and the "Honoring Our Peers" Award for extraordinary extracurricular activities. After graduation, Dr. Decker completed a year-long small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Virginia, where she worked closely with specialists of several disciplines and was a staff doctor at the hospital’s busy emergency and critical care center. She moved to Oregon in the fall of 2003 with her husband, where they share their home with 5 wonderful cats and 3 dogs, all rescues and special in their own way. When not at work, she is an avid ultimate frisbee player and enjoys working on her house.

Dr. Decker is passionate about fostering the human-animal bond by providing compassionate, high quality medicine. Her goal is to help caring pet owners be the best guardians of their companion’s health. She believes in the beauty and validity of the love we share with our 4-legged family members and strives to honor that in every visit, from well puppy or kitten to senior care and everything in between.
