A Wealth of Veterinary Experience at Your Service!

At VCA 12 Mile Animal Hospital, we look forward to welcoming you and your pets. Everyone on our staff believes the better we get to know your pets, the better we can provide the best possible health care for them. When you come in, you will see exactly why our veterinarians are praised for their kind and thorough care.

In every case, you'll be served by experienced, knowledgeable members of our staff. Our veterinarians, veterinary licensed technicians and other pet-friendly personnel are trained to the highest of standards.

Local Medical Issues

There are numerous local medical issues that can impact your pet's health, and that require your attention over the entire year. For example, heartworm disease, which can affect both cats and dogs is transmitted by mosquitoes that thrive in our region. This disease is a serious cause for concern. We often see the potential for flea and tick infestation as well as intestinal parasitism. Both of these conditions are a problem in any season.

Also, contrary to what many people expect, allergies are a year-round issue. Many pets suffer from skin and ear allergies, the signs of which include scratching, redness in the ears and scaly skin.
